Corruption is a criminal act that has a broad impact on state finances, the quality of public services, public trust, and the sustainability of development. This study aims to analyze the obstacles in eradicating corruption in Indonesia and formulate legal strategies that can strengthen the effectiveness of corruption prevention and prosecution. The study uses a normative juridical approach by examining relevant laws and regulations and literature. The analysis is based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, and supporting provisions for corruption eradication. The results of the study indicate that corruption eradication faces structural, cultural, instrumental, and managerial obstacles. Therefore, the eradication strategy needs to combine law enforcement, system improvement, anti-corruption education, transparency, institutional strengthening, public participation, whistleblower protection, inter-institutional cooperation, and continuous monitoring so that eradication efforts are consistent and oriented towards the public interest and are able to build a culture of integrity in the administration of government and social life in a sustainable manner nationally.
